how to start your day

How to Start Your Day on a Positive Note

Even if you don’t consider yourself a morning person, you can start your day off on the right foot by following a few easy steps – some before you even get out of bed!

Smile. Not only will you exercise 17 muscles in your face, but you’ll also release neuropeptides in your brain, which leads to endorphins, serotonin and dopamine entering your bloodstream. They all provide benefits – from relieving pain to acting as an antidepressant.

Count your blessings. Think of three reasons you’re grateful each morning. Maybe one is as simple as the sun is shining; another could be that you have a roof over your head. These reasons don’t have to be profound, just enough to get you into an attitude of gratitude. When you can begin your day with gratitude and not dread for the to-do list in your head, your whole outlook will shift.

Center yourself. Meditate. Read an inspiring quote. Take a few deep breaths. Listen to a relaxing piece of music. Do whatever brings you a sense of calm and peace before you jump into your daily routine.

Move your body. You don’t have to go for a three-mile run or do an entire cross fit workout – unless you want to. Just stretching for a few minutes will get your blood flowing and loosen your muscles so you’re ready to tackle anything the day throws at you.

Hydrate. Pour yourself a 16-ounce glass of water and take two THRIVE Premium Lifestyle Capsules as the first step of the THRIVE Experience. Squeeze a fresh lemon into your water to add benefits. Among them are an immunity boost from the Vitamin C, liver cleansing and alkalizing your body.

Complete the THRIVE Experience. The three-step process improves your mental and physical well-being – from helping you think more clearly to supporting the building of lean muscles.

  1. Swallow two THRIVE Premium Lifestyle Capsules with your first glass of water.
  2. Use one of our Ultra Micronized Lifestyle Shake Mixes to make a smoothie or shake.
  3. Put on a Premium Lifestyle DFT for support throughout your day.

When you tend to your emotions, your mind and your body as soon as you wake up, you will find that you’re happier, more resilient and have more stamina as you go through the ups and downs of life.
